TestiBytes of AG3 running teams at Klang Valley

Key facts of Achievements by Runners & Team Managers in AG3, Klang Valley.

  • Bro Eugene – although visually impaired was all determined and set us off in Team1 at an inspiring ease.
  • Bro Tan Kong Seng – Who ran in our AG3 Team1 was also running in AG10 in Team5.(Bro Tan joined us on my request for an additional runner).
  • Sis Mary was as usual the ever reliable and composed Team Manager of Team1. (Allow me to also mention that Mary is my beloved wife – have to say something about her or else no dinner for me 2moro or rather today).
  • The 4 kids from the Shelter Home (Sally, Flora, Joyce & Glory), were fervent in their prayers and deafening in their cheers, was indeed a morale booster.
  • Bro Roy showed his zeal in prayer & run, running in Team2 and continuing again in Team6.
  • Bro Tuck Hoe’s determination to complete the 5KM was an encouraging sight indeed.
  • Bro James- despite the early scare of a communication breakdown was truly a light & a guide shining upon us as Manager in Team2.
  • The youthful Team3 of Joshua,Leon, Kelvin & Abigail, led by Team Manager Bro Choo (who sponsored the mineral water) were really amazing when they showed how our younger generation should be in the area of prayer.
  • Sis Heng, Bro Choy & Sis Carol (the prayer warriors) ran one of the toughest routes in AG3 – they faced a challenge of a long and steep hill of almost 500m; despite going against all odds, were very focused in their prayers. Team Manager Sis Toh was instrumental in getting the Team organised before their run.
  • The young Team of Jeremy, Elena & Christina with Team Manager Nathaniel guiding their route and pathway were a brave lot running thru Seri Petaling.
  • Team6 comprising of Thomas, Sarah, David & joined by Roy and Thomas’s younger brother, with Team Manager Raymond at helm were in high spirits throughout. Their Team also had the morale support of Sarah’s parents who were driving alongside the team.
  • Team7 with Leader Bro Isaac; with Sis Florence & Sis Irene running alongside him, ran in one of the two busiest routes in AG3 – along the Old Klang road. Despite not being able to hand over the prayer card to Team8 due to time factor, were greeted with joy by Team Manager Mano (bro Isaac’s wife) and their children Aaron, Joel & little Rachel together with a RunNat09 committee member at sight.
  • Team8 which had to depart earlier before Team7 arrived,(in order to reach PJEFC on time) were led by the evergreen Kenneth Tai; who had with him season campaigners Jia Wei, Liew,Tony Cheah & Lisa. Their route was not only longer than the others, it was also faced with heavy traffic and pedestrian flow.Team8’s Manager – Eric did pretty well despite the fact that he came into the Team at the eleventh hour.
  • Tony did a ’special’ when he ran 15KM with Victor Chua in the KL city earlier in the morning then later joining Team8 for the final lap to finish for AG3.
