Registration starts on 1st Feb!
Attention everyone!
We are finally READY! (almost) Our IT team is working on the minor details of the Online Registration system and we aim to complete it by the end of this month. So RunNat2010 will be opened for registration on the 1st of February – that’s less than 10 days more to go. And before Chinese New Year too!
So remember to sign up for the Run when February hits the calendar and tell your friends about your Run. Take advantage of the Chinese New Year gatherings and hangouts to share with your family and friends about your Run. Get them to support you. Get them to pledge for you. Get them to be part of what God is doing in our country. Here are some of the features which will be made available to you as Runners:
- Your Very Own Runner Profile Page
When you sign up as a Runner, you will automatically have your very own Runner Profile page (www.runforthenation.com/runner/yourname). You can now encourage your friends and family to support you through your own page. With a clearer picture of what you aim to achieve through your Run, it would be easier to get supporters.
- Upload Your Photo
No more faceless Runners. It’s no longer the I-don’t-know-who-I-am-running-with-till-I-see-their-face-on-that-day, you will be able to view other Runner profiles and get to know who you are running before the Running Day. And you get to befriend other Runners who have signed up as well and perhaps exchange running tips with one another.
- Get Your Supporters
It’s so much easier now when you can post a Shoutout! to your audience to let them know why they should be supporting you. Let them know why you are running, what you want to achieve out of the run, and why they should support the good things that you are doing. They can also view your supporter list and the amount pledged to you by your supportive friends!
There are many more features that we are working on such as online purchases, donations, etc. but we are not spilling more beans. Let it be a surprise to everyone when we launch on 1st February. But we supposed we can give you a little peek into how it’s going to look like…
Stay tuned, people!
