So Runners if a Brazilian wants to pray for our nation how much more we who live here should do the same! Another person who got saved through sports is Emmanuel Mohan (he got saved whilst learning football at BFC).

RC: How did you hear about BFC?

EM: I saw an article about it in the Star newspaper. I love football so I enrolled myself in their course. I couldn’t afford the RM750 entry fee so my grandmother sponsored me. After 6 months later, one of the coaches appointed me as an assistant coach because he saw my capability as a player. That was in 2005. I have been serving there ever since.

RC: How did you become a Christian?

EM: A team mate of mine in the BFC named Jeffrey invited me to church once. I was curious. So I went to one service and during the service the Pastor preached a message on how to live a good life for God. Somehow the message touched me as I was living a fairly wild life without direction. I think I changed after that service because my parents noticed it. I found such peace and joy so I called Jeffrey and invited him to my place and I told him I wanted to accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour That was in 2005.

RC: Have you run 5km?

EM: Yes. I am quite sporty.

RC: Any last words?

EM: If you are faithful where God has placed you He will not only bless your ministry but he will also bless you. So be faithful to His word and Him.
