Runners: Pledge & Support One Another
Just as we get our friends and family members to support our runners, we can also support one another as runners as we take on this challenge to run and pray for God as one body of Christ.
If every runner pledges for their own team mates, we can raise a fairly substantial amount of money for our beneficiaries. And it doesn’t have to be a huge amount. For example, if every runner pledges RM10 for their team mates, we will be able to raised a few thousands for the beneficiaries to do even greater things in our country for the Lord. Isn’t that great?
FAQ: How Do My Supporters Pledge For Me?
This year, RunNat2010 will be raising funds through you (runners) to bless the community around us. We believe that it is important to bless our country with more than just prayer and intercession; we want to bless Malaysia with all that God has blessed us with. And one of the ways is to raise funds for the beneficiaries which are supporting RunNat2010 as all of them are sharing God’s love in different ways and ministries. You can find out more by clicking into their websites. Then, you can choose to run for one of the beneficiaries listed so that any funds you raised would go to them, to bless the work that they are doing for our country.
Here’s are the simple steps to getting your friends and family to support your run. Read More…
10 More Days, Runners!
Run, Pray, Believe & Bless
10 more days to the run. Besides getting ready physically and mentally to conquer the 5km which we have committed ourselves to, we also need to equip ourselves spiritually for the run ahead because this is not yet another marathon; RunNat2010 is a prayer run. We are marching into the spiritual realms to plant seeds in our beloved land; to plant hope where there is no hope, to plant love where there is no love, and to plant miracles where there is no miracles. Thus, we should not underestimate the great things God can do through our prayer run. Because we are His vessel. Through us, He will bring revival to our land. Through us, He will do greater things in our midst.

Klang Valley: Team Formation & Briefing Day
Dear RunNaters!
Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sister we are pleased to announce THAT WE HAVE 899 RUNNERS SIGNED UP TO RUN IN THE KLANG VALLEY! Praise the LORD! And thank you for being a part of this prayer event. ON THE 22ND OF MAY WE ARE GOING TO SOAK OUR STREETS WITH OUR PRAYERS WHILST WE SWEAT IT OUT!
YOUR TEAMS HAVE BEEN FORMED! Attached you will find the TEAM LIST FOR ALL THE 8 TEAMS IN YOUR AREA GROUP (AGs) (there are 25 AGs in total but you don’t need to know that for now). Team 1 starts at 5am, Team 2 starts at 5:45am (approx) and so on and so forth. At this point you still do not know where you run. This information we will let you know this coming Saturday during the RunNat Briefing Day (see below).
TEAMS FIND YOUR TEAM MANAGER!
One key person who is not yet part of your team but is very very important is your Team Manager. He is not a runner but you are gonna need him! He (or she) is the person who will drive you back to your car after you finished your run (unless you wanna run back!), carry your Iphone or Adidas sports bag and give you your water bottle when you need quenching at the end! He does more than that actually. He also needs to come for Briefing Day. So who is this person? He can be your brother, father, mother , girl/boyfriend, uncle, auntie, cell member, friend, roti canai supplier……the list is endless. Condition is he must have a car and hp (& hopefully cares for you!). To be clear each team needs ONLY ONE TEAM MANAGER.

Dear Klang Valley RunNaters,
Thank you for showing interest in what God is doing in our country through RunNat2010. We would like to let you know that both online and offline registration for Klang Valley has been closed. So does the team formation feature on the web application as our Team Formation leaders are currently sorting out more than 800runners to their respective teams and running area. We hope you can understand that no last minute requests would be entertained as this would affect the overall process.
For those who missed the payment deadline, we’re sorry to say that we would not process your registration as it is not complete. However, we would welcome you to help us out as volunteers on RunNat Day. We are still seeking for help in various areas to ensure that the Run is a success. This includes ushering runners into the halls, being team managers for running teams, medical aid, administration, photographers and videographers, etc. So if you are interested to help us out by volunteering your service to the Lord, please drop us an email at admin@runforthenation.com and we will get in touch with you shortly.
We are sorry for any inconvenience caused in the process of ensuring all information collected are accurate and precise. For further enquiries, email to enquiry@runforthenation.com and we will try our best to clarify. Thank you for being patient with us. God bless!

Mark Your Calendar for Briefing Day!
Yes, 22nd of May is the most important day, cause all the Runners for God will be running down the streets of Malaysia on the same day and time while they pray and intercede for our country. But there’s one more very important day when it comes to RunNat. It’s known as the Briefing Day. It’s the day all your enquiries will be answered!
This year, at Klang Valley, the Briefing Day for RunNat2010 will be held on the 8th of May (Saturday) at PJEFC – 2:45pm till 5:30pm. You’ll be able to meet up with the Organizing Committee who will share with you all the information you need. This includes where you will be running, what time slow will your team be running, what happens if there is an emergency during the Run, knowing the Runners before your team and after your team, etc.
You will also be getting your t-shirts (if you have ordered…. woohooo!), your maps and prayer cards on that day. It is essential for all Runners to be there so that RunNat2010 will run smoothly on the actual day itself. And if you have already found your Team Managers, get them to come for the brief too! We would want to cover as much areas as possible to ensure that everyone has a great time of prayer run on RunNat2010.
