Blessing Harvest the RunNat way

On 24th of August at 1pm, RunNat visited Harvest Centre in Sentul. We invited along with us Hon Yau, who raised more than RM1500 for Harvest to join us. Ps Elisha and Petrina hosted us to a lovely homemade lunch at the school cafeteria.

We then adjourned to a class where a group of primary students were having a BM class. Ps Petrina introduced us and took them back to the Prayer Run in May. Our chairman, Victor Chua shared how privilege it was for those involved in RunNat to be a small part of the work that the Harvest does. We then handed to Ps Elisha a cheque for RM9273 and gave a certificate to Hon Yau to thank him for his efforts in raising funds in the first ever RunNat fundraiser. We ended the visit with Ps Elisha sharing with us the challenges they face with a ministry looking after and educating 650 children from the ages of 2 to 19.

Harvest is doing an amazing job with looking after underprivileged kids and RunNat is proud to be a part of their exemplary work!

A blessed Saturday at the Harvest Centre

Sat was indeed a blessed day for those of us who helped out the Harvest Centre school relocate. The wonderful fellowship and great food served more than made up for the aches and pains that followed soon thereafter! 100 volunteers turned up from different groups to help the school move 7 floors of furniture, boxes and other stuff from 2 office blocks to 2 others. Through it all everyone involved was so joyful and just happy to be there. For the really heavy stuff, like the fridges, Eddy Wong got his contacts in the logistics industry to come give us a hand which they did much to the volunteers relief! There were even professional contractors like William Lim (a friend of our chairman) who came out to help with the carpentry work. Thanks to all those from RunNat & friends who helped out!

Plea for help to relocate Harvest Center school this Saturday

Dear RunNaters

Harvest Centre, one of our 4 beneficiaries, has asked if we can lend a hand to help them move their school from one building to another in the same area. They have to vacate the 4-storey office block they now occupy and so there is quite a lot of stuff that has to be moved. They need able bodied people who can move boxes and furniture.

If you are able to spare the time this Saturday and bless a whole group of children who need this move to allow them to continue their education then please avail yourself:

Date: This Saturday, 10th of July
Time: 9am to 5pm
Location: Sentul Boulevard, 21-4 Jalan 15/48A, Sentulraya Blvd, 51100, Kuala Lumpur
Please contact Ivan Chong at 012-3348250 for more details

Thank you for running!

Dear RunNaters!

It’s been a fantastic weekend, a significant weekend where all of us gathered together as children of God to act as one body for our nation, Malaysia. It’s very encouraging to see you guys coming together to run for Jesus, to pray and intercede for our country, to make a difference.

With 900 runners in Klang Valley, and another few hundreds in the other states, we have covered more than 1,000km of streets in Malaysia with our prayers and intercessions. Not only have we soaked the ground with hope and faith, the Lord has soaked us with His Power to do even greater things in this city.

If you have been actively checking our Facebook Page, the live updates there on RunNat Day was awesome as many states gathered together on one online platform to keep each other updated on our Run. There were photos, videos, testimonies and word of praises being shared within the states as RunNat Day took place which allowed us to keep each other in prayer. And the updates began at 3am…. yes, it was that early. God has awakened us to pray and intercede for all of you.
