Perlis, 10 October 2009 - There was excitement in the air that Saturday upnorth. Because there was a total of 78 participants from the age of 11 to 74 from 6 churches in Perlis who took part in the Run For The Nation event this year. Unlike other teams in the States, the Perlis Runners gathered at Grace Centre and had a wonderful time of worship and prayer before heading down the streets to start the run at 6:45am. 20 teams of runners covered 6 different routes praying for government building, place of worship, residential areas and commercial centres as they ran. The run ended with refreshments at 8.30 am. Praise God that everything went well. Truly it’s an occasion of significance for Perlis spiritually. Praise the Lord!
